I will teach students about four major ethical philosophies: Categorical Imperative, Utilitarianism, Virtue, and Justice. We will explore how these theories work by looking at the actions and plots of Marvel, particularly Black Panther and Civil War. Students will then identify their personal values and we will do a case study to practice ethical reasoning. I will teach using a combination of short lecture, videos, chat discussions, audio discussions, and activities. My teaching style is interactive and Socratic. Lecture will not be more than 30% of the class material. The rest will be interactive or activity based.

I will provide captions and a recording. We will switch activities frequently (listening, discussion, video, and writing) so it should be accessible for students with ADHD and dyslexia.
