In this 4-session live camp, dancers will learn the basic techniques associated with ballet, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, and hip-hop. We will learn how each style is characterized by its similarities and differences, and how this translates to different performance art opportunities. Dancers will build control through body awareness and improve memorization and musicality through dance combinations. Overall, the primary goal of this camp is to have fun and stay active!
I have been studying dance for 25 years and am a firm believer that we must start with the fundamentals to build success! Dance teaches control, precision, and self-discipline while providing both physical fitness and mental stimulation. I love helping dancers find self-discipline and aid in building their confidence for life.
