***Use coupon code INGRAW2215 for $15 off this winter camp! Expires January 9, 2023*** Are you ready to take your drawing skills to the next level? This is the class for you! In this 5-day winter camp, we will be deep-diving into improving drawing techniques you may already know from other classes or your own drawing experiences. This course is less creatively focused and more technically focused, so check out the Extra Materials list in the supply list for a more individualized experience. The course breakdown is as follows: ~Day 1: Shading master class ~Day 2: Line and contour master class ~Day 3: Facial features master class ~Day 4: Figure drawing master class ~Day 5: Two timed drawing challenges Each day, we will begin with quick, 5-minute introductions and then jump right into projects. Questions, discussion, and sharing is always encouraged, but never required. I like to allow some light conversation so long as the lesson stays on track. This class is best suited for intermediate artists who feel comfortable drawing quickly or who have no formal training but draw frequently in their spare time. I find that a teacher is only as good as their flexibility. I choose to forego formalities and keep relaxed environments in class. I actively strive to learn from my students as much as they can learn from me.
學習目標
Students will understand complex visual effects that we perceive in our daily lives and know how to translate them to paper with pencil. Students will master shading, line drawing, and anatomy of facial features and human figures. They will enhance their comfort with drawing quickly and deliberately without hesitation.

I received my AA in studio art in 2016, and I have been teaching art since 2020, when I led a paint tutorial for a sixth grade birthday party that was almost cancelled due to the pandemic. I really enjoyed the experience and became excited about the idea of sharing art and creativity with other artists. I love both the science and subjectiveness of art--I think there's a lot we can learn from it, and I can't wait to share it with your learners!
