In this Exam English Writing camp, learners will practise grammar related to the FCE and CAE exam. Classes will include input on the grammar and vocabulary, practise tasks and feedback each week too. What will you learn? Week of 28/10/24 Word order and emphasis Nominalisation it and there Complex prepositions Week of 4/11/24 Prepositions after nouns and adjectives Tenses The Future Modals 1 Week of 11/11/24 Modals 2 Nouns, agreement and articles Determiners and Quantifiers Adverbs and Adjectives Week of 18/11/24 Comparison Verb patterns 1 Verb patterns 2 Relative Clauses 1 Week of 25/11/24 Relative Clauses 2 Adverbial Clauses Conditionals Participle, to-infinitive and reduced clauses Week of 2/12/24 Noun clauses Conjunctions and connectors The passive Reporting Week of 9/12/24 - Substitution and Ellipsis Each week will include input on how to complete the task successfully. Learners will use the grammar in practice exam questions to ensure they have a good grasp of the rule and application. We look forward to being part of your learning journey!
