In this Exam English Writing camp, learners will practise grammar related to the FCE and CAE exam. Classes will include input on the grammar and vocabulary, practise tasks and feedback each week too. What will you learn? Week of 29/7/2024 - Word order and emphasis - Nominalisation - it and there - Complex prepositions Week of 5/8/2024 - Prepositions after nouns and adjectives - Tenses - The Future - Modals 1 Week of 12/8/2024 - Modals 2 - Nouns, agreement and articles - Determiners and Quantifiers - Adverbs and Adjectives Week of 19/8/24 - Comparison - Verb patterns 1 - Verb patterns 2 - Relative Clauses 1 Week of 26/8/24 - Relative Clauses 2 - Adverbial Clauses - Conditionals - Participle, to-infinitive and reduced clauses Week of 2/9/24 - Noun clauses - Conjunctions and connectors - The passive - Reporting Week of 9/9/24 - Substitution and Ellipsis Each week will include input on how to complete the task successfully. Learners will use the grammar in practice exam questions to ensure they have a good grasp of the rule and application. We look forward to being part of your learning journey!
