In this Exam English Writing camp, learners will practise grammar related to the FCE and CAE exam. Classes will include input on the grammar and vocabulary, practise tasks and feedback each week too. What will you learn? Week of 29/7/2024 - Word order and emphasis - Nominalisation Week of 5/8/2024 - it and there - Complex prepositions Week of 12/8/2024 - Prepositions after nouns and adjectives - Tenses Week of 19/8/24 - The Future - Modals 1 Week of 26/8/24 - Modals 2 - Nouns, agreement and articles Week of 2/9/24 - Determiners and Quantifiers - Adverbs and Adjectives Week of 9/9/24 - Comparison - Verb patterns 1 Week of 16/9/2024 - Verb patterns 2 - Relative Clauses 1 Week of 23/9/2024 - Relative Clauses 2 - Adverbial Clauses Week of 30/9/2024 - Conditionals - Participle, to-infinitive and reduced clauses Week of 7/10/2024 - Noun clauses - Conjunctions and connectors Week of 14/10/2024 - The passive - Reporting Week of 21/10/2024 - Substitution and Ellipsis Each week will include input on how to complete the task successfully. Learners will use the grammar in practice exam questions to ensure they have a good grasp of the rule and application. We look forward to being part of your learning journey!
