In this one-time class, students will learn how to take care of and use their brush pens. Students will: -learn how to differentiate between calligraphy and cursive -learn how to hold and properly use a brush pen/brush marker with light pressure and heavy pressure -learn how to properly store and maintain their brush pen -learn the names, forms, and purpose of the basic strokes of modern calligraphy
I have been studying and practicing calligraphy/hand lettering for over five years. I mainly use my skills to create gift tags and other handmade gifts for family and friends. But I also do paid projects from time to time.

Pencil with an eraser 3. Dowloaded files (created by teacher) from the classroom, printed out on computer paper SUGGESTED SUPPLY: Tracing Paper -Not a "requirement" to complete the class successfully -BUT using tracing paper as opposed to writing directly on copy paper/printer paper will greatly extend the life of brush pens as copy paper is usually quite rough and causes fraying
