課堂經歷
In this one-time course, students will have fun learning new material while also reviewing previously learned information in a Jeopardy-style format. This class will focus on information related to space and our solar system. Students are free to sign up more than once. I won't always use the same board. I will try to keep the content varied and include some current space news as well. The purpose of this course is for students to primarily review material but they may learn some new concepts along the way. Reviewing and checking knowledge and comprehension should be fun and interactive. Difficult or confusing concepts will be reviewed after the game if time allows. =

Students will gain the confidence to answer questions about topics they are learning in school. They will be able to discuss and explain a variety of concepts. They will make friends and have fun.

Hello!
UPDATE: I am taking a break from Outschool. After the spring semester of 2024 ends, I will take a hiatus.
I offer a variety of science and math classes. I have close to ten years of teaching experience. I've worked with students of all ages including young adults. I experience teaching in the classroom and teaching virtually. I have a B.A. from Louisiana State University.
I've helped tutoring student reach their goals whether it's to pass a standardized test or get a passing grade in a course.
I think that a basic understanding of science enhances one's life. It opens up a world hidden to most people. Studying science and math helps children to develop critical thinking skills that can be applied to all areas of life. My goal in all my classes is to inspire the students to study science. I want them to always ask questions and to stay curious.
Please reach out to me if you don't see a time that works for your child. I will try to be accommodating if it is possible.
When I am not teaching or prepping for classes, I enjoy crafting, reading, working out, and spending time with my dog.
