In this class, we will be meeting live to greet and introduce ourselves in Greek. We will then learn the calendar word in Greek and talk about what day, month, and year it is. It is a great way to get started on Greek learning for your little learner. This class is to get students familiar with speaking Greek, listening to Greek, and recognizing Greek words! We will practice the vocabulary for the calendar such as today is, yesterday was, tomorrow will be, and more! Students will learn basic vocabulary including conversation starters, numbers, and greetings. Students will also practice their vocabulary skills with each other in the Outschool classroom by doing introductions (in Greek) to one another and socializing. When learning a new language repetition is very important. We will meet weekly with the routine of completing a daily calendar lesson and have students repeat the words and phrases so that they can begin to strengthen their Greek skills in a fun and engaging way.
