This class is designed to give your child fun hands-on practice with 4th grade math skills as well as a review of 3rd grade skills. Your child will practice Math concepts, increase his/her number sense, manipulate objects and pay games. The class is broken into 19 weeks of lessons. If you don't want to attend all of them, no problem. Each class is an independent lesson, not relying on previous lessons. Each lesson is designed to build increased knowledge and confidence over the math concepts taught that week. Informal assessments throughout will help me to see how well your child is grasping the concepts.
I have a Masters in Elementary Education with 28 years of teaching experience. I primarily have taught 3rd and 4th grade.

Paper, pencil, counters (can be as basic as pinto beans), Cheez-It crackers for the multiplication and division lesson on Week 6. Additional printable papers/supplies will be sent to parents before the lesson in which they are needed.
Some math manipulatives will need to be printed and pre-cut before some of the lessons.
