In this class, your child will build math confidence as she/he reviews 2nd grade Math skills and is introduced to 3rd grade Math skills. Each class is working on an independent skill, so if you cannot attend every class, that is not a problem. Lessons will include fun activities and games with an experienced elementary Math teach Week 1: Place Value and Number Sense Week 2- Comparing and Ordering Numbers Week 3- Addition Week 4-Subtraction Week 5-Subtracting Across Zeros Week 6- Introduction to Multiplication and Division Week 7- More Multiplication Week 8-More Division Week 9- Problem Solving: Choosing an Operation Week 10-Telling Time Week 11- Fractions of a set and fractions of a whole Week 12- Area and Perimeter Week 13- Making 2D Polygons Week 14- 3D Solids Week 15- Data Analysis Week 16- Rounding Week 17- Financial Literacy Week 18- Completing Financial Literacy

Scholars will review second grade Math skills as they bridge into 3rd grade math curriculum. The class is taught at a third grade level with review included of previous 2nd grade skills.
