In this class, students will learn how to make white bread from scratch. Previous baking skills are ideal, this class is a great start for kids who want to take their baking to the next level. Ingredients for the recipe: 1 cup of milk (any fat percentage) 1 1/4 cup of water 2 Tbsp. white sugar 1 Tbsp. salt 3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter (margarine works as well) 1 pkg. yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons of yeast) 6 cups of flour 1 tablespoon vegetable, canola, or olive oil Plastic Wrap Measuring cups for dry ingrediants Liquid Measuring cup 1 large mixing bowl 1 small mixing bowl Stand mixer with bread-hook (optional)
