Let's learn about the branches of government in a fun way! In this class students will learn about the three branches of government. Students will learn about each branch of government (Legislative, Executive, and Judicial) with a focus on the following positions: Senator House of Representative President Vice President Supreme Court After we learn about each role, students will be able to nominate a Pokemon to fill the position. Students will be able to make their case on why their Pokemon would be best for the job. Students will then be able to fill in their final choice for each role. By the end of class students will have created their own Pokemon Branches of Government!

I have been a teacher for 9 years working with students in this age range (6 to 10 years old). During this time I have taught many different subjects, including history and social studies. I have taught students who have performed very well in school and State exams in numerous subject that I have taught to them. When teaching subjects to students I believe that teaching it in a fun way allows it to be learned easier. Relating the Branches of Government to Pokemon is a great way to make learning fun. 評論
