Welcome!
My background in teaching goes back ten years when I began to home-school my own children.  My college studies include bachelor of science in Early Childhood Education and studies in Physical Therapy..  I love hands-on learning and embrace the Waldorf/ Charlotte-Mason style.  My past teaching experience in the classroom includes 5th & 9th grade English and 5th grade art and history.  Currently, I teach Life Science to 3rd-4th grade students at a home-school co-op.   I have also taught English as a second language online to students in China!  I love learning about other cultures, photographing nature, hiking , nature walks, exploring , running, and everything elementary! It has been my passion to see the light of learning torched to life in children. My desire is to reach beyond the screen and kindle the spark of learning into roaring and radiant flames. I will equip your student to expand their thinking in creative ways, appreciate the diversity of life, expand their scientific vocabulary,  and ignite curiosity.
