Does your child love adventure stories, particularly the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne? This book club focuses on the popular and exciting adventure stories, Magic Tree House. Each week, students must read a set book at home before the following class (students will not be able to participate fully in class if they do not read the book before the lesson. We will NOT be reading during the lesson). Students will use class time to answer a range of questions to expand and...
Students will improve their reading fluency, intonation, and pace. Students will develop their comprehension and understanding skills. Students will complete cross-curricular activities relating to each book. Students will expand their discussion and critical thinking skills. Students will work together with peers to answer questions.
Students will receive worksheets prior to the start of each weekly class.
