This classic book by Roald Dahl (who also wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory among other classics), is a wonderful story for kids of all ages. We will do reading on our own before each class and practice our oral reading skills in class. Hello! I am a school librarian, art teacher, and music teacher. Before that, I was the producing artistic director of a youth theater, doing musicals with kids and teens for the past 20 years (Matilda is also a Broadway Musical). I am also a freelance teaching artist throughout the NYC and NJ area teaching all ages from kindergarten through graduate students in the arts, writing, history, and literature. In 2018, I received my doctorate in Literary Studies with a musical theater dissertation.
