In this teacher-led; 40 minute, twice a week for three weeks class, we will read James and the Giant Peach and compare it to the movie (if we have seen it). We will play theme-related games, look at the five story elements, and answer study questions for reading comprehension. We will also keep a vocabulary journal of words we do not know and discuss them in class.
