Week 1Lesson 1Introductory Mini Lecture and DiscussionDuring the first live meeting, I will be introducing you to the author and the book, focusing on culture, history, and the geography covered in the story. You don't need to have any of 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘳 read yet, but feel free to start it if you like.Week 2Lesson 2Discussing Chapters 1-14During the live meeting, we will discuss Chapters 1-14 using conversational Socratic method. We will also discuss the week’s project and assignments, including London landmarks.Week 3Lesson 3Discussing Chapters 15-27During the live meeting, we will discuss Chapters 15-27 using conversational Socratic method. We will also discuss the week’s project and assignments, including a storyboard scene!
Literature analysis, vocabulary reinforcement, study skills, keeping to an assigned reading schedule, and social skills.

You can acquire whichever edition of 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒓 that works for you. Beg, borrow, or buy! I will also provide a very easy-to-acquire list of supplies for small projects each week. You should have everything on hand—I'm a mom, too, and I know how difficult it can be to find obscure supplies, so I choose projects that are easy for you to put together.
