You will love this reading club and makeup beauty shop club for empowering your girl to be confident and creative individuals. 

MY GOAL was to create a space that young girls could explore books in a way that was personal, fun, and engaging, a place where reading wasn't just about turning pages but about living a story.  The idea was to integrate hobbies, activities,  and creative experiences into traditional book club formats, making each club a unique adventure that felt like a personal journey.  But we go one step further.  We encorporate growth mindset so our girls become strong successful people.

THE BOOK BABE CLUBS were deficient designed around themes, where each club would focus on a hobby or interest ( nails,  makeup,  sewing,  crocheting,  horses,  etc.) Alongside the book.  This allowed the girls to connect deeper with themes of the book they read, expanding beyond just reading to real-world, hands-on activities and creative expression.  These clubs empoweryoung readers to not only dive deep into the world of thier favorite books, but also explore new hobbies, develop new skills, and express themselves in creative, hands-on ways.


WELCOME TO the captivating and empowering book babe beauty shop book club where we review literacry parts and themes of Ella Enchanted, learn beauty tips, tricks, and more, and have the opportunity to apply our skills hands on.  

IN THIS ONGOING CLASS students will participate in book club style discussions and interactions while applying new beauty techniques.  But we go above that with our focus on true beauty and confidence.

DATE: 17 Jan
Class 1: Finding Your Voice: Speaking Up Despite Obstacles

Chapters/Pages: Chapter 2 (Ella’s first interactions with Lucinda) and Chapter 8 (Ella’s confrontation with Hattie).

Discussion: How does Ella’s obedience curse affect her ability to speak her mind? What small ways does she resist?

Self-Confidence Spin-Off: Write a letter as if you were Ella encouraging yourself to overcome a personal challenge.

Beauty: Step 0 to Done


DATE: 24 Jan
Class 1: Courage in Friendships: Building True Connections

Chapters/Pages: Chapter 7 (Ella meets Areida) and Chapter 13 (Ella’s interactions with Char at the ball).

Discussion: How does Ella’s friendship with Areida help her grow? How does Char encourage her confidence?

Self-Confidence Spin-Off: Create a “friendship shield” with symbols representing the traits you value in yourself and a friend.

Beauty: Clean and Mask

Class 1: Breaking Free: Fighting for Independence

Chapters/Pages: Chapter 12 (Ella at finishing school) and Chapter 16 (Ella’s journey to the giant wedding).

Discussion: What risks does Ella take to free herself? How does she demonstrate courage despite her limitations?

Self-Confidence Spin-Off: Roleplay a moment in your life where you stood up for yourself, even when it was hard.

Class 1: The Power of Choices: Big and Small

Chapters/Pages: Chapter 9 (Ella chooses to defy Hattie) and Chapter 22 (Ella makes a sacrifice for love).

Discussion: How does Ella’s ability to make choices, even under the curse, show her inner strength?

Class 1: Redefining "Happily Ever After": Confidence in Love and Life

Chapters/Pages: Chapter 24 (Ella’s decision at the wedding) and Chapter 25 (the resolution of the curse).

Discussion: How does Ella’s act of selflessness reflect her growth? What does her happy ending teach us about confidence?

Self-Confidence Spin-Off: Design a vision board for your own “happily ever after” focused on personal goals and strengths.

Beauty: Hair and Nails



THIS CLUB IS STRUCTURED like a novel study. Students will be given a reading assignment and a video to watch.  We will offer questions in classroom to discuss major points that we have learned.  Students will have the opportunity to apply new skills in real life ( if you chose).  

I AM VERY INTERACTIVE in my teaching and discussion.  Students will have the opportunity to talk with me anytime throughout the course or after in the message. My office hours are monday- Thursday and I will get back to you quickly.
