課堂經歷
In this small group introductory class, I will be teaching the students how to greet each other and introduce themselves in French, by singing, playing games and, using images and props. - Bonjour, salut ! (hello, hi) - Comment ça va ? (how are you ?) - ça va bien ! (I'm good) - Comment tu t'appelles ? (What's your name ?) - Je m'appelle .... (my name is ...) - Quel âge as-tu ? (how old are you ?) - J'ai ........... ans (I am ..... years old) - Au revoir (goodbye) During this time children will be expected to repeat the words and phrases to one another. We will complete a worksheet that should be printed before the lesson and we will use some crayons. This class is a good opportunity for your little one to try and see if he/she likes the French language 🇫🇷 *No previous French knowledge required.

Hi everyone, Bonjour à tous,
I'm Mrs Nathalie, thank you for coming to my classroom.
About me :
My family and I moved to the US a few years ago, first in New Jersey, and then in the amazing state of Texas.
However, I was born, raised and educated in France !
I went to University to study French literature. After I got my teaching certificate, I taught more than 15 years in different schools in France (in pre-schools, Kindergarten and elementary schools) as a "professeur des écoles”.
When I moved to New Jersey, I had the opportunity to teach in a French American school. It was a wonderful experience and I could really see how beneficial it is for a child to learn in different languages.
In 2018, when I moved to Texas, I got another certification to teach French as a second language and since then, I really love teaching French !
As much as I love learning about different cultures and languages, I love sharing my language and my culture as well.
I love travelling, reading, cooking and meeting new people.
About my teaching style :
I believe learning a new language is an amazing adventure ! And I want to be a part of this adventure with your child. Like a guide, I will help him or her to explore this "new land".
I love tailoring my classes to make them fun, interesting for all age groups and most importantly helpful for my learners. I want them to reach their goals, and I can take care of their needs.
I truely believe that children (and adults !) need to be comfortable and happy to learn, and I know, by experience, how intimidating it is to speak a new language. That's why I use many tips and tools to give confidence to my students and to encourage them all along the way !
There are many ways to learn French with me : we can read, cook, draw, sing, write and of course play !
I also know that pronunciation is often the key to be well understood, so I pay attention to that and help your children to speak like "un petit Français".
I hope you’ll join me and together we will have fun speaking French !
