In this class we will explore the geography, history and culture of this tiny Himalayan country which for a long time was forbidden to outsiders. We will explore the famous sights of Bhutan such as the Tiger Nest Monastery and the wildlife that thrives in its pristine forests such as the critically endangered tiger. We will discover the national sport and favourite pastime of the people there as well as look at the royal family and how they balance tradition with modernisation.
