In Phonics Level 5 Weeks 20-40, children are taught alternative graphemes. Level 5 Weeks 20-40 focus specifically on the graphemes: ir, ue, ew, y, aw, au, ow, oe, wh, g, c, ph and ea. Over the next 20 weeks children will learn reading and blending alternative graphemes, learn sight words and read and write sentences. We will continue them on the journey of reading and writing. The class will loop to ensure coverage of all letters and sounds. Children may drop in and out of...
