課堂經歷
If your child knows letters and sounds and is ready to start putting sounds together to read, then this class is for you! We will begin with a quick show and tell with your child's favorite vehicle. We will use vehicles to help students visualize blending sounds in an engaging way! This one-time class will spend time on some of the more common word families and the skills children learn in class will help them learn how to blend more words! The children will learn multiple hands-on ways...
This class will help children learn how to read and write CVC words using word families. They will work on blending sounds together, making rhyming words, spelling common CVC words, and reading CVC words in sentences.
I am a licensed elementary teacher with a Master's degree in Literacy. I have many years of teaching experience in classrooms and as a reading teacher.
-a favorite vehicle to share with the class (this can also be used to help with reading in class) -something to write with (paper/pencil OR whiteboard/marker)
Parent support (off-camera) is appreciated for learners who may need a little extra support with writing/blending.
