Ready to fall in love with painting? Ms. Muse's paint - a - long classes are fun for any age. No painting experience is necessary.......Really! Just paint - a - long and by the end of class time, you will have created a masterpiece! I will demonstrate how the paint colors work together and layer these to create beautiful paintings with depth. They will learn painting terminology and some easy to remember techniques that they can use in their own artwork. If they choose, students can always share their masterpiece at the end of the class. This is never forced. It's really exciting to see how proud they are of their work. Watch as they improve with each painting they create!

Students will learn how to use and mix acrylic paints, while using different techniques to layer and blend on their canvas.
They will learn how to create paintings with depth.
I will instruct by demonstrating and painting each step to complete the featured painting.

With an adult’s help / electrical hairdryer ( warm air ) will be needed to dry our blended background. We will paint and dry this together. Acrylic Paint Colors : White ( A generous amount) Yellow green bright blue purple dark pink orange Black 11x14 surface such as Canvas /canvas panel /canvas paper /watercolor paper/thick multi- media paper/wood *Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14 or smaller . This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success. 3 SHORT HANDLED brushes : (flexible, synthetic bristles please) 3/4 “ or 1 " Flat wash brush Medium sized ROUND brush ( size 8 ) Small sized /Detail ROUND brush with a nice point. ( size 3 or 4) 2 Bowls of water EXTRA paper towels AND old cloth . Paint well to hold paints. Paper plate /cardboard for mixing Please position ALL supplies on same side as the hand you paint with . Computer /device should be faced directly ahead for head on viewing of the student/painting steps.
