This Class is "Learner Directed" Students will be introduced to various age appropriate art techniques and use them to bring their imaginations to life on paper! The class structure will be as the following -Students will pick what they want to draw that matches the theme for the week. For example if the theme is "Under the Sea" learners can request that I draw an octopus, a treasure chest, ect. -After that students will be able to pick and choose what they'd like to draw, and then create...
The students will learn different drawing techniques that will help them put their imaginations to paper, and grow in their own artistic confidence.
As an experienced game designer and artist with multiple titles shipped both in the games and movie industry, I would like to help cultivate a new generation of artist and game designers while giving them the tools to be successful wherever their art takes them. I've been teaching online for years now on other platforms and have taught over 3000 students, over 4500 individual classes for a total of 4000+ hours thus far! Not only do I bring an enormous amount of experience and expertise to the table, I also love what I do and realize just how big of an honor it is when parents trust me to help educate their children. I always honor that trust with the best classroom experience I can provide.
Students will need: - pencils - Nice white drawing paper. Loose or in a Sketchbook is fine - A *good* eraser (one your student likes to use that does not leave marks). Optional : -Markers for coloring - Digital art supplies are fine too. Drawing tablets, drawing monitors, or computers with paint programs work fine as well.
