Mr. Powell of www.HistoryAtOurHouse.com will be teaching a full year of World History with a focus on Asia and Africa in the 2018-19 academic year. If you'd like the perfect way to know if it could be the history program you're looking for, this single-lesson class is it! Mr. Powell will show your student how to grasp the connection between past and present -- and really learn it! The method of Anchor Facts (TM) will help your kids avoid the harmful perception that history is merely the boring "study of the past" and show Africa's place in the world we live in. No prior knowledge of African history is required. Parents and students who have tried to learn the history of Africa, but who have been frustrated by being unable to grasp the "big picture" will find the class especially helpful. Students who already understand parts of the story will finally see how they fit together! All participating families will receive access to both the live class and permanent access to the Youtube screencast recording for repeat learning and enjoyment.
