課堂經歷
In this camp learners will learn the foundations of good singing technique each week in a fun and encouraging environment! Each day we'll start with a warm-up to help familiarize learners with Tonic Sol-Fa (Do, Re, Mi, etc.), talk about technique topics that are developmentally appropriate for the 4-7 year old voice, and learn a new song! Songs will be taken mostly from nursery rhymes and familiar children's songs to help learners feel at ease singing both with the group and on their own. The topics each day will be: Day 1 Intro to Sol-fa (Do, Re and Mi) Pitch Matching Day 2 The 5 Note Scale (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, and Sol) Breathing Day 3 Major Scale (Do to Do) Day 4 Review Students will learn a short song as a group each day and have a chance to sing a short solo to help them build confidence!

Hello from sunny Florida!
I am a piano and voice (singing) teacher who also has lots of theater experience! I'll be offering a variety of music programs for kids of all ages.
I have been teaching piano since 2001 and it was one of my first jobs. I added voice and theater into the mix in 2006 when I received my BA in Music Performance from American University in Washington, DC. I was blessed in 2012 to be able to start teaching full time and I have never looked back!
I've been teaching music for 20+ years and I have loved every moment of it! I especially love working with young singers and helping them explore their voices and understand free and easy vocal production.

In addition to music I am also a homeschool mom and a part time gamer. I love everything from tower defense to cozy farming games. Gaming on Outschool has been a great way for my own son to connect with other kids, and I hope to bring that opportunity to other families as well!
