初級西班牙語 - 讓我們談談感受！

¡Hola!  My name is Jamie Carcich, and I'm a former high school and middle school Spanish teacher.    I love learning new languages, exploring other countries and cultures, and sharing that enthusiasm with my students.  

I learned Spanish in school, beginning 8th grade with Spanish 1.  It was always my favorite subject, and I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Spanish from The College of New Jersey in 2004.  I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Seville, Spain during college, and intern in Buenos Aires, Argentina after graduating.  I believe that the most exciting part of learning a language is being able to take what you've learned in the classroom to communicate effectively in the real world, and create connections with people you may not have been able to otherwise.

I have 7 of years experience teaching Spanish at both the high school and middle school levels, working with students from 6th grade up to 12th grade.  My experience includes basic introductory Spanish, Spanish 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as foundational Spanish for students with special needs.  

One of my favorite things to do is travel, especially to Spanish-speaking countries!  In addition to Spain and Argentina, I've also had the opportunity to explore Peru, Ecuador Colombia, Panama, Chile, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic.  Next on my list is Bolivia!
