In this class, learners will learn about upcycling, or using something existing to make something new! We will be using ready-made t-shirts to create a new slouchy tshirt, tunic top, or dress! Learners will learn about creating their own patterns from existing clothing, making adjustments such as like sleeve length, hem length, neckline shape, and fit (making something slim fit or flowy), and about hemming. No pattern needed. Learners will walk away with a custom top made just for them!...
Sewing machine (no "kid" machines please!) Thread Pins/clips Pen/Chalk 1.5 yards stretchy knit fabric (approximately) Scissors or rotary cutter
