In the first class I will go over a basic introduction to Morse Code and ways in which the code is still in use today. I will then send a message using this free app: CW Studio for Android. Students will learn the two different characters that make up all Morse Code: the dash "-" (pronounced dah) and the dot "." (pronounced dit). Next, I will go over the first half of the alphabet by typing it out and encouraging learners to go get a paper and pencil if they don't already have one. This...

I am licensed as a General Amateur Radio Operator KC2SAL and I have used Morse Code to communicate to real radio operators all over the United States.
