- Students will learn the basics of guitar including playing position, how to strum, proper hand and finger position, simplified chords, how to count and play chord patterns, and how to play multiple songs.
I am a certified music educator and have been teaching music classes in public schools for 11 years. I also have taught private music lessons for 16 years. I love this instrument and specialize in teaching beginning instrumental music lessons to beginners. My goal is to make music lessons fun and frustration-free.
Students must have their own guitar (6 strings) and pick. Guitars must be tuned before the start of every class (parents please assist with this). A Google Slides presentation will be sent to you for reviewing the material learned between each class.
