In this 6 week class, we will teach your learner the essential words/concepts to get them started with the beautiful Chinese language!  This class will be taught in Chinese but given translations as needed to help the learners to understand and memorize what they are learning.

This class is your first step to start learning the Chinese language with topics covering:

The Chinese pinyin
The Chinese tones
The Chinese characters
Self-introduction (my name is, I'm from, etc.)
Greetings (hello, how are you, bye, etc.)


Tentative Schedule:

Week 1: The Chinese pinyin
Week 2: The Chinese pinyin
Week 3: The Chinese tones
Week 4: The Chinese characters
Week 5: Greetings (hello, how are you, bye, etc.)
Weeks 6: Self-introduction (my name is, I'm from, etc.)

No Chinese background knowledge is required. This lesson is perfect for New Chinese learners.

The class flow will be greetings, review, learning a new skill, practicing, and speaking. This class will have topics intermingled together to engage in natural conversations.

Homework is optional but is strongly recommended to not only practice in between classes but to help remember the new language as you continue to speak it.
