This is a 2 hour class in which students will learn how to create an acrylic painting size 8x10. or 9x12 They will learn how to mix paint, what brushes to use, how to apply paint to canvas . I will have the picture displayed that we will be painting as well as email students before class so they can view on another screen or print off to use as reference . At end of class anyone who would like to share their masterpieces with everyone are welcomed. I will send a list to students and parents...

Students will learn how to mix and apply acrylic paint to a canvas in order to create a painting. They will learn how to block in colors, how to put on layers and how to add detail to a painting.
small canvas or canvas paper suitable for acrylic painting around 9x12
paint brushes (any brand as long as for acrylic) small , medium and larger sizes recommend the following
#1 round and #1 liner
#6 flat or 1/2 inch flat
1 inch flat or larger filbert #10 or 12
Acrylic paint level 1 or 2 recommend the following colors titanium white, mars black, sap green, yellow orchid (or gold), raw sienna, cerulean blue, cadium red, burnt umber
Roll of green painters tape
