Day One: We will explore the difference between comparative and superlative adjectives. We will learn when to add [-ier/-est], [-er/-est],[more/most], [less/least] to words to ensure they are grammatically correct in our sentences. We will look at pictures and text to see how they are used correctly and incorrectly in order to ensure each student can detect their correct usage. Students will make their own sentences and practice using them correctly. We will then work to use some of these...
Students will better understand the difference between superlative and comparative adjectives and when to use them in their writing.
I have a B.A. in English and Education and love trying to take English topics and make them fun for my students!
A piece of paper and writing utensil if desired. I will also include a worksheet that will include the writing prompt to be completed for Class 2.
