Experience a comprehensive essay writing camp where learners master every element of a five paragraph essay from brainstorming to thesis statements to editing. Each week includes instruction, activities, and peer interaction. Optional homework focuses on crafting and refining one's writing. At the end of the two weeks, not only will students have a solid writing foundation for their future academic endeavors, they will have written communication skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.

Hello!
I'm excited to teach English, Language Arts, and Social Studies through Outschool. I've been teaching in one form or another for over twenty years. I have taught all ages from early childhood to adult in public, private, and higher education school settings. I have a Master's degree in English and another in Montessori education. I have certifications in Montessori education (6-9 and 12-18) and Teaching English as a Second Language.
I believe in getting to know the student as a whole person, and meeting them where they are for the greatest learning success. I strive for an engaging and inspiring learning experience.
I live with my three children and our dog, Buddy. I can't wait to meet you!
