Students will learn about 5 topics in regard to Bearded Dragon care. Firstly, they will learn about the Bearded Dragon diet. Specifically, what they eat, why they need to eat these foods, where to purchase food, and how to prepare it. Next, we will discuss housing, what type of enclosure is best for your lizard, and how the inside of the enclosure should be set up. Bearded Dragons require specific heating and lighting so we will then go over what lighting is needed for your lizard, how to set it up, and the importance of quality lighting and temperature. Since Bearded Dragons are incredibly sociable it is very important that we discuss how to handle your lizard and what fun activities (such as training) you can do with them! Lastly, we will discuss where the best places to purchase a healthy Bearded Dragon. 

I am a National Geographic Certified Educator, zookeeper, and animal educator. During the course of my career, I have worked with many reptiles, specifically Bearded Dragons, and have taught hundreds of people about their care. I also own a Bearded Dragon animal ambassador, named Picaso, who I have cared for 8 years now.
