課堂經歷

Anxiety about starting new things is normal and can even be helpful, but when anxious thoughts get too big and take over our ability to have fun and try new things we need to find healthy ways to cope. This class will be teacher led and a mix of informal discussion and reflection to get learners thinking about ways to deal with fears and anxious thoughts. Time will be included for the kids to talk and normalize feelings around anxiety and coping strategies, but students will be allowed to pass on any questions they are not comfortable answering. Healthy tools that sometimes help with anxiety will be introduced and learners will be encouraged to choose a few to try next time they are feeling overwhelmed.
