I will help students understand how to analyze Avatar: The Last Airbender in order to strengthen their critical thinking and literary analysis skills.  It is so important for students to be able to comprehend stories and discuss them with others in subjects like History and English.  Additionally, I will create an environment where students can feel comfortable expressing themselves and talking to other like-minded individuals.  Most of all, I hope they have fun!

I am a huge fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender, and I have taught at Outschool for over two years!  Additionally, I studied various critical pedagogical teaching techniques while attending the University of California Davis, giving me the tools to provide an environment of equality and acceptance.

We will be watching clips of Avatar: The Last Airbender from Youtube.  Students will not be sent to any external websites, and all of the content I share will be shown from my screen.
