課堂經歷
If you have a learner who loves all things Fall and is working on their letter recognition, phonemic awareness and reading readiness, this class is for you! We will journey through the alphabet while we focus on different Fall and Autumn concepts. This class does not feature any spooky or Halloween content and has a Fall / Autumn / Nature theme. Discussion of Halloween isn’t prohibited, it is just not a focus. Class will begin with greetings and a short socialization time for students to share something they love about Fall. We will practice our alphabet awareness as we sing our ABC’s to warm up. Next, we will practice letter identification, letter sounds, and beginning letter sounds through a variety of on-screen and printed interactive games and activities. We will act out motions and movements to reinforce each letter sound. Students will receive a FALL ABC activity sheet to go along with the class. We will review the letters from A-Z and teacher will give learners instructions on how to finish their coloring on their own after class. Students will wrap up with a review of what we learned that day, and say “See you next time!”
