If you love to read "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie", then you'll love these class! Explore American Sign Language through theme-based classes. We'll learn ASL vocabulary and interpret the adorable book series by Laura Numeroff. Explore what happens when you show kindness and give an animal a special gift. I'll show and explain hand signs and repeat for greater retention. Class length varies from 18-25 mins. Students need no prior experience or knowledge. Since this is a self-paced class, you can do classes at your own speed. Come sign with me!

ASL helps students with multiple learning needs by reinforcing vocabulary. Research has shown incorporating American Sign Language with spoken language improves comprehension, expression, and communication for special education learners.

I have taught Little Signers ASL to preschool and elementary students over the past 10 years. I have a Masters in Education with a certification in K-6th, biology, and earth science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I completed ASL I, II, III, & V in college and interpret for a Deaf family in church. I am also a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga. In addition to teaching on Outschool, I teach a weekly live online Little Signers class.
