Students will learn American Sign Language vocabulary as they learn about the Apollo 11 space mission to The Moon. Then, sign the song "We're Going to The Moon". Students need no prior experience or knowledge. I'll show and explain hand signs and repeat for greater retention. Class length is 13 mins. It is my joy to share ASL as a second language and to help bridge the gap between hearing and Deaf communities. Come sign with me!

I have taught Little Signers ASL to preschool, elementary, and middle school students over the past 10 years. I have a Masters in Education with a certification in K-6th, biology, and earth science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I completed ASL I, II, III, & V in college and interpret for a Deaf family in church. I am also a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga. In addition to teaching on Outschool, I teach a weekly live online Little Signers class.
