In this four week course, we will continue to learn about American Sign Language. It is highly recommended that you complete the four parts of Beginners with Mrs. Emily and the four parts of Intermediate with Mrs. Emily, before taking ANY advanced classes. If you have prior ASL experience and would like to take this class, please send me a message. 

We will practice finger spelling and receptive practice in these advanced courses and we will also learn about ASL grammar. 
Our schedule is as follows: 
Week 1: Finger Spelling: Teacher to Student
Week 2: Finger Spelling: Student to Student
Week 3: Receptive Practice: Teacher to Student
Week 4: Receptive Practice: Student to Student 

Each week we will review what we did the previous weeks and we will practice more of the skills we have been learning.  By the end of this course, each student will be able to finger spell, recognize signs and sentences, and be able to procure an ASL sentence that is grammatically correct. I will give sheets with examples of sentences and words for finger spelling and receptive practice for students to practice at home and to use for when it is a student to student day.
