In this one-time class, we'll learn about warm and cool colors and make an abstract watercolor painting! 

🎨 We'll start class with a warm welcome and icebreaker question. 

🎨 Next, we'll discuss the difference between warm and cool colors, using a slide show as a visual aid. We'll also play a short game to practice identifying warm and cool colors.

🎨 Finally, we'll use permanent marker (or crayon) and watercolors to practice what we've learned about warm vs. cool colors and create an abstract painting. I go step-by-step and make sure everyone's with me before moving on to the next step!

🎨 Learners are encouraged to make their painting their own. I love seeing all the wonderful ways everyone's final piece is different!

I am a patient and positive teacher and I truly believe that everyone can create art! I love seeing learners build their confidence and have fun creating something they're proud of. Everyone's finished product will be different and we celebrate those differences! Also, as a former shy kid myself, I am very understanding of learners who take some time to warm up and there is no pressure in my classes to talk if that isn't comfortable yet. All are welcome here! 

There is no experience required for this class- beginners welcome!
