In this Flexible Class you will create art connected to 5 famous artists.

Please note that this class does not meet live, it is a flexible class, so lessons are pre-recorded.

Each week I will post my interactive classroom, which will include a slide show, an activity and an Art demonstration, so you can create your own beautiful masterpiece.

BONUS - Escape room!

This class can be taken by younger or older children. Reach out to me if you would like to know if it is the right class for your learner.

Participation is essential to ensure proper understanding of the materials and to promote a sense of community in class. You can post polite comments on each others artwork.

Here is a breakdown of what you will do each week:-

- Picasso, create a Cubism fish, using black sharpie and markers.

- Paul Klee, create a vibrant watercolor Klee Cat painting.

- Van Gogh, paint a cherry blossom tree, using acrylic or tempera paints.

- Monet, create artwork using a watercolor and oil pastel resist technique to create a beautiful Japanese bridge.

- Knud Pederson, Danish Resistance artist, design a piece of mail art.

If you don’t have any of the supplies, you can adapt the artwork to what you do have.

How Learners will Interact:  Learners interact with one another through collaborating on finished artwork, sharing pictures or videos of their artwork and commenting on classmates’ artwork.
