課堂經歷
Outschool flex class: No live meetings. A video will be posted each week which students may complete at their own pace whenever they wish. In this exploratory class, students will be introduced to a variety of methods they can include in their art journal. Students are also encouraged to invent their own techniques and express their creativity however they wish. No prior experience necessary! Week 1: Introduction, About Me Collage, Page Starters Week 2: Layering, Stamping, Prompt...
Students will learn various artistic journaling methods through a series of weekly prompts and materials guided by the participants. These exploratory experiences can provide a multitude of holistic benefits if practiced routinely.
The teacher is a certified K-12 Art Educator.
Bring any type sketchbook or blank journal. Some ideas: Sketchbook, notebook, stapled printer paper etc. Bring a variety of supplies: Student will have some guidance, but will also be able to make their own choices. Some materials I will use in demonstrations include: Pens, crayons, Markers, old magazines or newspapers, old book pages, cardboard, scrap paper, junk mail, markers, stamps, tissue paper, spray bottle, watercolors, glue sticks, scissors, acrylic paint, etc. The classroom will provide directions about the ideal materials to use each week!
