During this weekly, ongoing class, students will learn to paint using acrylic paint using a step-by-step method. Students will have the choice whether to draw using a pencil first or to jump right in with the paint. The choice is up to each individual. My goal for this class is to not only teach the students how to paint each piece, but to also give the students practice and techniques to improve their artistic skills on a regular basis. acrylic paints canvas (8.5x11 or smaller) or paper or a sketchbook that has paper meant for acrylics masking, painters, or washi tape (optional) pencil and eraser (kneaded eraser is preffered) paint brushes paper towels palette or something to mix paint on cup of water black inking pen (optional) Please have all materials ready when class begins.
