In this class, we will work on making sure your child is ready for kindergarten. As a kindergarten teacher, I know the importance of being prepared for school. We will work on math and language arts each week. We will learn through games, writing, activities, and practice. Many students experience the "summer slide" when between grades. This can even happen to preschoolers. This course would also be beneficial to students that need the summer boost before beginning kindergarten in the fall....
Students will learn kindergarten skills including counting, writing numbers, letters, sounds, letter writing, beginning sounds, rhyming, etc.
I am a certified, licensed kindergarten teacher.
Please put together a small container that holds the following for your child: paper pencil marker board marker crayons or markers small items to count (pennies, blocks, etc.) If anything else is ever needed, I will contact you via the classroom.
