課堂經歷
In Lesson 1, students will be introduced to the world of "architectural design". We will discuss what “architecture” is. Then, we will explore the most fundamental "point" of design as a place in space and geometrically as the end of a line segment. After a demonstration of the project, students will work in class to create their "point" structures. Point structures will be made of mini marshmallows and toothpicks. Students may share their work with their peers at the end of class if they like. Students may ask questions in class and may comment on each other’s creations. The lessons in the “Architecture Rocks” course build on the previous lesson. Students are encouraged to complete Lesson 1 before registering for Lesson 2.
