You do not have to have taken the first Anne class to take this class.

Week 1. Lucy Montgomery: her life and other books she wrote. Why is Anne so loved that another book was written?
Homework: Read Chapters 1 through 5.

Week 2. What lessons can we learn from Anne?
Review homework.
Homework: Read Chapters 6 through 10. 

Week 3. What can we learn about the friendships that Anne has made in her life?
Review homework.
Homework: Read Chapters 11 through 15. 

Week 4. What can we learn about how Anne teaches her students?
Homework: Read Chapters 16 through 20. 

Week 5. Marilla and Anne how has their relationship and Rachel Lynde's relationship changed?
Homework: Read Chapters 21 through 25. 

Week 6. What is Anne and Gilbert's relationship and how has it changed?
Homework: Read chapters 26 through 30 and write a paragraph about what was the main difference between Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea.

Week 7: We will discuss what we have learned about Anne and how her character has developed and changed.
