課堂經歷
In this ongoing course, students use drawing, painting, paper collage, and clay techniques to create artworks of different animals. Each week students will create an animal while being introduced to different material, techniques, and famous artists. Though this class is taught mainly though a directed drawing type of teaching style, the students will be encouraged to add anything they want to make their work unique to them. There are over 50 lesson planned for this course. Project and art medium used for upcoming weeks: 2/12 Racoons Paper collage 2/19 Tiger Painting 2/26 Bee Drawing 3/4 Amate bark birds Painting 3/11 Bella dogs Drawing 3/18 Giraffe Paper collage 3/25 Surprise fish Drawing 4/1 Grumpy monkey Drawing 4/8 Whale tail Painting 4/15 Snail Paper sculpture 4/22 Harper grid animals Drawing 4/29 Spider Paper sculpture

Students will continue to develop skills in artistic expression and artistic decision making.

A specific supply list for each week will be posted in the classroom 24 hours before class. General supplies needed for class: Paper materials: White drawing paper, construction paper of various colors, scissors, glue stick or glue bottle Drawing materials: pencil, eraser, crayons, colored pencils, markers Painting materials: watercolor paint, acrylic or tempera paint, paint palette, paint brush, cup of water, paper towels Clay materials: airdry clay or playdough Other possible materials: small pieces of cardboard, printed worksheets
