Become one with the legends of Greek Mythology and see how it's shaped western culture for thousands of years. Join me in adventuring the Aegean sea and surrounding islands, where we will prove to the Gods that we are worthy of their powers before joining their ranks as Olympians ourselves. 

Each class we will discuss and review the characters of Greek Mythological stories, then reenact them in the Minecraft world. Over the course of the week we will build, do lots of exploring, compete in games, scavenger/treasure hunts, player vs. player activities, and more all in survival mode Minecraft. 

Over the course of the week we will explore:
- Perseus and Medusa. Learn about this fabled hero and go on his journey, meeting Athena, Hermes, the fates, and more along the way! Go on a treasure hunt in the ocean and defeat drowned so the sea monster can be slain.
- Theseus and the Minotaur, learn about the maze and this mythological beast before trying to get through it yourself. Everyone will need to work together to defeat the Minotaur
- The Battle at Troy: prepare for the incoming invasion from the Greeks as the Trojans using redstone and other defenses, before have a multi-stage battle where the Gods and Achilles will show themselves!
- Mount Olympus and the Olympians: Explore Mount Olympus and meet the Olympians! Then, you will make your own God or Goddess and fight in the gladiator games to prove your worth!
- Reenact some of Odysseus and Hercules' trials and tribulations! Solve an escape room by working together and get through the obstacle course after finding a secret Garden and defeating the Cyclopes and Sirens!

THIS IS NOT A JAVA EDITION CLASS! There are two versions of Minecraft that run on different code: Java (PC, Mac, Linux) and Bedrock. This class uses Bedrock, and is compatible with the following devices: PC with Windows 10, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, phone or tablet version. Please make sure your child has online-play enabled with their Microsoft account, including Nintendo Switch Online, Xbox Live Gold, and PlayStation® Plus subscriptions for their respective device. I will give more detailed instructions about friending me and joining class upon registering.
